Assess and review your team's bridge watch performance

Bridge Watch Vessel Report

Measure bridge performance

1. You have the ability to adjust the filters located at the top of the report to suit your preferences. The Bridge Watch Compliance timelines consist of a series of timelines that indicate any anomalies or amber activities that occur within the designated time range.

By hovering over each indication, you can view the number of occurrences per the selected time-bin. Additionally, a navigation timeline is provided at the bottom to offer further context. When relevant, hovering over each time-bin will provide information on the navigation status as well as the name of the nearby port when relevant.

2. The Bridge Heatmap (one for each side of the bridge) displays areas where individuals have been detected during the specified period. The brightness level indicates the areas on the bridge that are most frequently visited by people.

3. The voyage window displays a detailed path of the vessel's journey for the specified period.

4. Further down the report, you will find the Watch Level Performance graph, which displays the percentage of time in the preceding 30 days that a person was detected in the wheelhouse. The purple dotted lines represent the industry benchmark, which encompasses all ShipIn vessels.

Following the Watch Level Performance graph, you will find the Alert Summary graphs that compare vessel data to the selected benchmark range. Each alert summary graph is divided into two sections:

On the left: Normalized rate of occurrences per month

On the right: Average duration of occurrences

💡Product tip
The Watch Level Performance KPI is different from the Unattended Bridge activities, as those alerts are only triggered when no person is detected for more than 15 minutes.

5. The Alert tables can be found at the bottom of the page. These tables present the raw data for the selected period, including information about the vessel and benchmark.
