      Map features

      Use the map on the dashboard to gather more context

      Map features
      1. To switch to satellite view, simply select the map type using the map selector (outlined in red).
       
       
      2. To adjust the map view, simply click on the + / - icons located in the bottom left corner of the map. Alternatively, you can use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in or out.
       
       
      ✅Implementation tip
      When viewing video snippets, zoom in and change the map to satellite view to gain more context on a vessel's location at the pier, offshore at anchor, or along the coast.
       
       
      3. The map displays the vessel's trail for any specified time period, using the available AIS data. By hovering your mouse over each point, you can access AIS and weather information that is pertinent to that specific point in time.
