Why does the sensor status say Unavailable or Lost Connection?

Sensor status indicates the Vsat connectivity to the sensor.

The system periodically checks from shore the connectivity to each of the sensors in each vessel. 

Available: the system is able to establish a connection during the past 3 minutes

Lost Connection: informaton about this sensor is not available due to a connection problem with the vessel

Unavailable: the sensor is currently not functional   

 

Users can hover over the status to obtain a definition for each as shown below:
